The Lewisville Community Assistance Program (LCAP) is a joint project of churches in the Lewisville, North Carolina area that helps people of the community who have an emergency situation. Food insecurity and financial crisis threaten the stability of families. LCAP strives to provide hope and healing by meeting these needs through Christian love and service for the benefit of all.
If you are in need of assistance, please call 336-945-3203 to be connected to an LCAP volunteer.
Gifts from LCAP's pantry are provided free of charge at regular distribution days to all in our service area who are in need, and at other times at the discretion of LCAP representatives.
If you need help between food distributions, call 336-945-3203 to be connected with a volunteer.

Our drive-in pantry is open from 4:30pm-6pm at Lewisville Methodist Church, 6290 Shallowford Rd, Lewisville, NC 27023
At LCAP, we are dedicated to serving our immediate neighbors. To ensure our resources remain sustainable and reliable for our community, we focus our support on residents of Lewisville and the annexed areas of Pfafftown. See the Lewisville Town Map for a complete list of the streets we serve.
If you live in these areas, you may be eligible for food support or emergency utility bill assistance. Please ensure you bring proof of residence (such as a utility bill or ID) when you visit or call us.
We want to ensure that everyone who needs help receives it. If you live outside of our specific service area, we still encourage you to seek assistance. See Community Resources for options in your area.
We offer our drive-in service one Sunday every other month from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Since we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, please plan your visit carefully, as our hours are limited. We encourage you to arrive on time and plan for a wait of approximately 30–45 minutes.
We are committed to making your visit a positive, efficient, and private experience. Our pantry operates as a drive-in service, so you can remain comfortably in your car from the time you arrive until the time you leave—we'll bring the food to you!
Here is what to expect:
Arrival: When you arrive, one of our welcoming volunteers will direct you to a parking spot and assign your vehicle a number.
Check-In: A volunteer will approach your car discreetly to confirm your eligibility. Please have your proof of residence ready.
Placing Your Order: The volunteer will give you a simple order form to complete. This allows you to select the items your family needs most.
Fulfillment: Once you hand the completed form to the volunteer, we will take it inside and carefully fill your order. When your order is ready, we will load it directly into your trunk or backseat for you.
Since we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, your wait time may vary depending on when you arrive. While we strive to be as quick as possible, please plan for a wait of approximately 30–45 minutes. We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding if we are especially busy, as we want to give careful attention to every order.
Our offerings primarily consist of shelf-stable staples—including canned and dried proteins, grains, baking basics, and pantry items—along with necessary household and personal care supplies (like soap, toiletries, and paper goods). However, the specific inventory is subject to change, and we sometimes may be unable to offer certain items.
While we do not stock refrigerated items, we are sometimes able to offer special donated items, such as frozen foods, produce, or baked goods, which are available in limited quantities. Our volunteers will let you know about any special items available on the day of your visit.
We understand that health, mobility, or transportation issues can sometimes make it impossible to visit our drive-in location. We want to ensure our neighbors facing these challenges can still access the support they need.
If you are a resident within our service area (Lewisville or annexed Pfafftown) and are unable to attend the scheduled pantry hours, please call us at 336-945-3203. We are happy to discuss your situation and make special arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
If you need assistance with an urgent bill (such as utility shut-offs), please apply for assistance or call us at 336-945-3203. We manage these sensitive requests discreetly over the phone to assess your situation and determine the best way we can help, saving you a trip.
Please note: We are unable to assist with rent, security deposits, credit card payments, or medical bills. Please see Community Resources for organizations that might be able to help with these needs.
